Technical Intern
Work contract duration: 1 to 5 years (including cases of 2-year extension).
77 occupations as regulated by OTIT (Organization for Technical Intern Training).
Basic salary based on each region.
Minimum education: Junior high school (secondary school) or higher.
No skills or experience required.
No Japanese language proficiency required.
Specified Skilled Worker
Work contract duration: Up to 5 years.
14 occupations.
Salary equivalent to native Japanese workers.
Minimum education: Junior high school (secondary school) or higher.
Category 1: Technical intern trainees who have completed a 3-5 year program and returned to their home country:
Must have a Level 3 Skill Certificate or a work confirmation letter from the company in Japan.
Category 2: Technical intern trainees who have completed a 1-year program and returned to their home country, or applicants who have never been to Japan but have passed the specialized skill test in one of the 14 designated fields.
Minimum Japanese language proficiency: N4.
Unlimited work contract duration.
No restrictions on occupations.
Salary equivalent to native Japanese workers.
Eligible to sponsor family members to live in Japan.
Minimum education: College or university graduate.
Must have a college or university degree in the relevant field of application.
At least 2 years of work experience in a similar position in Vietnam.
Minimum Japanese language proficiency: N4.
Engineer
Work Program in South Korea
E7 Visa (Specialized Engineer)
Work contract duration: 3 to 5 years.
Companies with official licenses can participate in recruitment and dispatch.
No regional restrictions.
Minimum education: Vocational diploma or higher in the relevant field of application.
At least 3 years of work experience in a similar position in Vietnam.
Korean language certification is not mandatory, but good Korean proficiency is recommended for better job opportunities.
After completing the contract, applicants may apply for an F2 residence visa.
E8 Visa (Short-Term Worker)
Work contract duration: Up to 5 months.
Recruitment and dispatch are carried out through cooperation between local governments in South Korea and Vietnam.
Only workers from provinces that have signed an MOU with local governments in South Korea are eligible.
No education requirements.
No skill or work experience required.
No language requirements.
After the 5-month period ends, the employer will process the extension procedures for the worker at the South Korean Embassy.
Work contract duration: 4 years and 10 months.
Direct recruitment and dispatch by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids & Social Affairs of Vietnam.
Must not be from regions restricted from entering South Korea.
Minimum education requirement: Secondary school (Grade 9 or higher).
Must take a skills test and work competency assessment.
Must participate in Korean language training and examination organized twice a year by the South Korean Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Vietnamese Ministry of Labor, Invalids & Social Affairs.
EPS – E9 Visa (General Worker)
Eligibility Requirements
Age: 18-35 years old (18-45 years old for the South Korean market)
Education: Graduated from secondary school (Grade 9) or higher
Male Candidates: Minimum height of 1.60m, minimum weight of 50kg
Female Candidates: Minimum height of 1.46m, minimum weight of 40kg (For the South Korean market: Minimum height of 1.50m, minimum weight of 45kg)

Salary depends on the registered occupation and workplace location.
Payment Basis: Wages are paid either hourly or monthly.

Insurance & Healthcare: Foreign workers receive full insurance coverage according to local laws and are entitled to regular health check-ups as required.
