To Those Aspiring to Go to Japan from Vietnam

The exchange between Japan and Vietnam began in the 16th century. Since then, the two countries have maintained a long-standing friendship through economic and cultural interactions.

In the 20th century, Vietnam overcame many hardships and achieved reconstruction, with Japan providing economic support along the way. As Japan entered the 21st century, it faced challenges such as an aging population and labor shortages earlier than many other nations. Today, many people from Vietnam and other countries contribute to Japan's economic activities.

日本とベトナムの交流は16世紀にはじまり、以来、経済・文化の両面で交流を重ね、長期にわたり友好関係を築いてきました。

20世紀にベトナムは多くの困難を克服し復興を成し遂げましたが、日本はそれを経済の面支えてきました。その日本は21世紀に入り、他の国よりもいち早く人口の高齢化と労働力不足という問題に直面することとなり、今ではベトナムをはじめとする多くの国の人々が日本の経済活動を支えてくれています。

どの国も繁栄するときもあれば困難に直面するときもあります。そうしたときに互いを尊重し、支えあうことができれば、対立することなく平和な関係を維持できる、日本とベトナムの歴史はそれを示してくれていると思います。

これからも、祖先がそれを残してくれたように、皆さんと共に努力し、力を合わせて両国の未来にそれを受け継いでいきたいと願っています。
